Carrie Krueger, President of the O.M.I.S.S. Radio Network was a guest of the San Bruno Amateur Radio Club on Monday, October 17th 2022. The O.M. International Sideband Society was started in 1981 and today has nearly 15,000 members since its inception. The role of the O.M.I.S.S. Network is to enable amateur radio operators with a General or Extra license to make contacts around the country or even the world. They operate with volunteers to put on "nets" every day on frequencies ranging from 20M to 160m throughout the day. They use Netlogger as a means to visually allow members to see who they might want to contact in order to test their radios and their skills as they become more comfortable in using HF frequencies. The moderator for this Zoom meeting was Dave Dornlas, KN6KOO, President of the San Bruno Amateur Radio Club located in San Bruno, CA. The event took place on October 17, 2022.
